About the business

The City Mission has served Cleveland since 1910. It is a Christ-centered homeless shelter providing help and hope to men, women, and children in crisis through Crossroads Men's Crisis Center, Laura's Home Women's Crisis Center, and transitional housing, with 81.2 cents of every dollar going directly to resident care.

The website project

With dozens of programs, events, and giving options, The City Mission's site is one of the largest we manage. The structure is organized around what a visitor wants to do: get help, serve, or give. Each crisis center has its own section, impact numbers and stories of hope are surfaced on the home page, and giving pages cover monthly gifts, legacy giving, stock, and item donations.

Timely campaigns, like the annual Running with a Mission 5K, are promoted through a home page popup without disrupting the rest of the site.
