About the business
Burton Windsor Mushrooms is a veteran-owned, family-run farm in Geauga County, Ohio, growing gourmet mushrooms in small batches: Lion's Mane, Shiitake, Blue Oyster, Pink Oyster, King Trumpet, and Pioppino. Every mushroom is trimmed and cleaned before it leaves the farm, with nothing added, and sold at the Mentor Farmers Market and GAR Horizons in Chardon.
The website project
A farm's website has to answer three questions fast: what do you grow, why is it better, and where can I buy it. We built a single-page Next.js site that walks through exactly that: the farm's story and its “nothing added” promise, a variety guide with flavor and cooking notes for each mushroom, the health benefits, and a Where to Buy section with directions to each market.
Images are delivered through Cloudflare for speed, the contact form is protected by reCAPTCHA, and Google Analytics and Tag Manager measure visits and inquiries. The page is written around the searches Northeast Ohio shoppers make when looking for gourmet mushrooms.
